What a day it was in Seahaven Springs—rain came and went like an old friend visiting, the café filled to bursting, and somewhere between Truman's off-key singing and a perfectly timed rainbow, the town voted yes on that lighthouse bus proposal everyone's been talking about for months. There's a kite stuck in the big park tree now, which naturally means a committee is forming, and the traveling garden gnome made another mysterious appearance on someone's porch—though naturally, nobody's admitting to the moving. By evening, The Anchor was alive with music (some of it intentional), and the community orchard is in glorious blossom, reminding everyone why they stay in this little seaside corner of the world. Tomorrow the kite will still be stuck, the gnome will still be mysterious, and Truman will probably still be singing—but tonight, Seahaven Springs simply enjoyed being exactly what it is.
