Day 193
What a day in Seahaven Springs! The rain cleared to reveal a perfect rainbow, and for a brief, shining moment the orchard painted the whole town in blossom—though a mischievous seagull made sure Truman's lunch became someone else's treasure near the dock. Poor Sal learned that same seagull's enthusiasm comes with consequences and is now resting comfortably at Seahaven General, where Rex brings flowers that somehow never quite match the vase. A kite tangled itself in the big park tree, committees are already forming, and somewhere in the gathering dusk, Gus claims he had nothing to do with that harmonica music drifting from the dock—though his denial was almost convincing. Tomorrow the gnome will still be refusing to confess its travels, but tonight Seahaven Springs settles into the kind of peace that only comes after a day full of small, warm, utterly ordinary magic.
