Sal Marino bounced out of Seahaven General in high spirits, the bakery's yeasty perfume sent half the town into a productive daze, and nature itself put on quite the show with rain, rainbows, and a brief flicker of the lights that barely ruffled the town clock's feathers. Seagulls remained unrepentant, kites remained stuck, chess rivals called it even, and a very satisfied cat claimed the Town Hall steps as its own kingdom. By evening, the umbrellas came out one last time, and Seahaven Springs settled into the gentle certainty that tomorrow would bring more of the same lovely, ordinary chaos.
