Elaine returned home from the hospital to her garden waiting, Truman and June kept their word to the very last apple, and even old grudges between Hal and Truman found their way to peace—the sort that arrives without fanfare, simply because that's what Seahaven Springs does. The traveling gnome moved again, the clocks still disagree by two minutes, and somewhere in town someone played the same eight hopeful bars of piano while the rainbow arced over the bay as if applauding the day's gentle work. Tomorrow will bring new small mysteries and old friendships deepening—but tonight, the town rested easy, knowing that everything had turned out exactly as it should.
