Norma received a mysterious postcard, seagulls stayed true to form, and the Founders Day Festival was born in an instant flurry of committees. A hedge transgressed one inch too far, but Seahaven Springs knows how to settle these things with grace. By evening, toasts were being raised to Thursdays themselves—first by Gus at The Anchor, then by Fern, as if the whole town had decided together that this ordinary day deserved celebrating. Tomorrow will bring what it brings, but tonight, in a town where nothing bad ever happens, everything feels exactly as it should.
