Day 434
What a day it was in Seahaven Springs—one of those gloriously eventful ones where everything seemed to happen at once and then settle into something gentle. Rex found himself needing Sheriff Brody's steady hand this morning, but a stern word and a handshake sent him on his way; by evening, he and Sal were drawing the town toward The Salty Gull for Sunday supper, the kind of meal that binds a community together. Poor Hal took quite the tumble from an overzealous seagull and is now resting up at Seahaven General under Dot's capable care—though if the grapevine is to be believed, Dot's been finding reasons to smile more often these days, especially when Kip stops by. The rain came and went like a guest who couldn't quite decide whether to stay, but it left behind the most cinematic rainbow, and now the town is settling into that perfect evening warmth where everyone drifts outside, content and unhurried, watching the clouds drift in over the bay as if the sky itself is performing just for them.
