At The Anchor, there's a new chair nobody quite remembers arriving, and young Milo Ferris sat among the regulars with stories worth telling. Rain came with suspicious timing, umbrellas bloomed in unison, and through it all, the town's ordinary rhythms continued—Dot tending her pond notebook, Norma investigating what the tide left behind, Kip practicing tales, and life going on in all its small, warm, utterly normal ways.
