Day 450 brought fog that knew exactly where to stop, bread that made the whole town pause mid-thought, and the small satisfaction of mysteries gently closed. Truman found a file on his desk that didn't need finding, though the postcard that arrived with it—another lighthouse for his collection—seemed to arrive precisely when he needed reminding that the world is wider than it feels. By evening, Marla had lost her sandwich to a seagull again, Flo had reached the storytelling stage at The Anchor with tales of things finished and promises kept, and somewhere in the warmth of pear-scented kitchens and the queue at Kip's bakery that nobody minded waiting in, Seahaven Springs proved once more that the best days are the ones where nothing much happens—except everything.
