Day 451
Day 451 brought Seahaven Springs its finest gift: a day that needed nothing but itself. The pear harvest ended as it began, with Truman's steady hands and steady heart, and the town's rhythms settled into their natural pace. A kite caught in a tree, a mysterious postcard for Hal, umbrellas blooming like flowers in the rain—small moments, perfect moments. As the light turned golden over the bay and Gus Tidewater sat contentedly watching clouds, it became clear that sometimes the best thing that can happen in a town is simply that everyone shows up, keeps their promises, and lets the day be exactly what it is.
