Day 502
What a day in Seahaven Springs! Marla emerged from the hospital hale and hearty, just in time to hear that Truman's favorite meal awaits him at The Salty Gull—though nobody's saying why the kitchens have taken such a shine to him. The town's traveling garden gnome continues its mysterious journey from porch to porch, leaving only bewilderment in its wake, while poor Kip nursed his wounds at Seahaven General after a rather spirited disagreement with that very same gnome and a flowerbed. As the rain cleared and a rainbow arced over town like something from a picture postcard, word came down that the Sandcastle Regatta is on, and committees are already forming with the fervor of a small town that has found its purpose. Tonight at The Anchor, Rex polished his good glasses, Gus conducted an invisible symphony, and the gentle chaos of Friday evening settled over Seahaven Springs like a well-worn blanket.
