Day 611
What a day it was in Seahaven Springs! Kip bounced back from the hospital just in time to rope Truman into solving the mystery of a wandering ladder, while the rain came and went as dramatically as it pleased—leaving behind a rainbow so perfect the editors might not even need to adjust it. But there was a bittersweet note when Dot, our stalwart nurse, took a tumble down the Town Hall steps and found herself on the other side of the ward she usually runs; at least Kip will be thinking of her while she recovers. As for the rest of the town, they simply sat outside in the warmth like contented seagulls, with piano music (however uncertain) echoing from The Anchor, and a heron at Miller's Pond reminding us all that some things simply cannot be rushed.
