Day 792
What a day in Seahaven Springs! Truman and young Flo finished their bench by Miller's Pond with a satisfying thunk of completion, while overhead the sky put on a show all its own—rain, a rainbow at just the right angle, and lights that flickered like they were winking at us. A traveling garden gnome continues its mysterious journey from porch to porch (nobody's talking), a lighthouse postcard found its way to Truman's mailbox as if by fate, and somewhere in Town Hall, June Ellery is still beaming over a form that arrived perfectly filled out on the first try. As the sun set over the bay, fishermen pretended not to smile at the clouds, Rex spun boat tales at The Anchor, and ordinary Seahaven Springs hummed along exactly as it always does—which is to say, full of small wonders.
